Born in Lima, Peru, and raised in Spain from the age of 12, Victor built his entire padel career on Spanish courts, competing and coaching at the highest levels of the sport. His path into consultancy began with a simple observation: padel was growing at a pace the industry wasn’t ready for. Clubs were opening without systems. Federations were forming without roadmaps. Academies were recruiting coaches without frameworks to develop them. The opportunity, and the problem, was the same: padel needed people who understood both the sport and the business behind it.

Building from the Court Up

Victor’s first move wasn’t to write a business plan. It was to get on a plane.

In the early years of Victor Perez Padel, the work was hands-on: designing court layouts, training coaches, advising federation leadership, and building club operations from scratch in markets where padel was brand new. This wasn’t consulting from a distance, it was consulting from inside the problem.

That on-the-ground approach became the foundation of everything VPP does today.

From Spain to Emerging Markets

The turning point came when Victor shifted focus toward emerging padel markets, countries where the sport had zero infrastructure, no certified coaches, and no model to follow.

In 2023, Victor led the launch of the first padel courts and academy in Uzbekistan. Starting from zero, the project delivered coach certification for 80% of all active coaches in the country and established three operating padel centres. It was the kind of project that doesn’t exist in a playbook, because there was no playbook.

Similar work followed in India, where VPP certified 100+ coaches and helped lay the foundations for organised padel development across the country.

Across emerging markets, Victor Perez Padel has now certified 400+ coaches and supported padel growth on three continents.
