Over the past two decades, I have dedicated my life to padel — as a player, coach, consultant, and above all, a passionate believer in the sport’s power to transform lives and communities. Today, I find myself on a unique mission: to help shape the future of padel in one of the world’s most exciting emerging markets — India.
A Global Journey Rooted in Passion
My journey began in Spain, the birthplace of padel, where I had the opportunity to train with and learn from some of the best minds in the sport. Over the years, I coached hundreds of players, worked with elite academies, and consulted for clubs, federations, and companies across Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and Latin America.
However, of all the markets I have worked in, none has captured my attention quite like India.
Why India?
Padel in India is still in its early stages, but the potential is enormous. With a young population, a growing appetite for new sports, and world-class infrastructure being built, India is poised to become a key global player in the padel ecosystem.
When I first visited, I saw something more than just opportunity — I saw a calling.
Building the Foundations
Since then, I have been working hand-in-hand with local partners to build sustainable padel projects across the country:
- Developing and training Indian coaches using a professional methodology built over 20+ years.
- Creating academies and recreational programmes to serve all ages and levels.
- Consulting for clubs, startups, and investors to ensure the sport grows with quality and vision.
- Supporting the creation of a national federation structure that aligns with international standards.
Furthermore, I have helped connect India with the global padel world — through events, brand partnerships, and recognition from key institutions like the FIP (International Padel Federation).
More Than Just Coaching
Being a mentor goes beyond giving advice or teaching technique. Above all, it means creating opportunities — inspiring a new generation of Indian players, coaches, and entrepreneurs to believe that padel is not just a game. For many, it is a path to health, success, friendship, and even a professional career.
The Road Ahead
My commitment to India is long-term. I believe this country will become one of the great padel nations of the world — not by importing foreign expertise indefinitely, but by building its own identity, powered by passionate, trained, and empowered Indian professionals.
That is my mission. And that is why I am proud to call myself: The Indian Padel Mentor.
